MEMA Original Equipment Suppliers and the Society of Automotive Analysts (SAA) are excited to announce the 15th Annual MEMA OE / SAA Purchasing Summit. The event will be held on May 21, and is hosted by Marelli at its Customer Experience Center in Southfield, MI. The summit offers a unique opportunity to hear directly from OEM purchasing representatives.
The event will begin with an industry overview with Itay Michaeli, Analyst-Autos, Citi, trailed by Dave Andrea, Principal, Plante Moran, sharing highlights from the 2024 Plante Moran North American Automotive OEM-Supplier Working Relations Index® (WRI®) Study. Following Andrea’s presentation, purchasing executives from the six participating OEMs will provide commentary on the study results and answer questions from attendees. The event will conclude with an opportunity to network with the OEM purchasing executives.
Attendees of this event will walk away with a better understanding of the following:
- Which OEMs are improving their relations with suppliers, and which are falling behind.
- How suppliers are improving relations; what programs and policies are they embarking on.
- How OEM cost-cutting programs affect supplier relations.
