Electric Vehicle Train-the-Trainer Bootcamp

The transition to electric vehicles creates a unique challenge for secondary and post-secondary automotive technology programs and instructors. This three-day event will explore these new technologies and provide educators the knowledge and skills to take these programs from planning through implementation.

This dynamic program alternates classroom and hands-on instruction for a fast-paced, deep dive into EV instruction. Each experience is designed with educators in mind and will provide learning activities and resources for implementation at your school.

  • Curriculum planning and mapping for secondary and post-secondary programs
  • Industry recognized certifications and safety programs
  • Facility considerations for electric vehicle programming

  • High Voltage safety overview and certification
  • How to obtain vehicles, components, and consumables
  • High voltage training aids – What is available and what do we need?
  • Instructor / Faculty development, training, and certification goals
  • Hands-On High Voltage Systems Training
